About the Store
In March of 1998, Greg Brown and (late) David Van Dyke had a quest- to lighten up Rehoboth Beach with exclusive men’s fashion, and assorted furniture and novelties.
Beac Essentials started with their own clothing line but reset to focus on exclusive brands and omit furniture and novelties. Our original concept was to cater our store to the diverse Gay Male population, as part of the LBGT community. The age demographic is from 19 to 45++ years. As the male community gets older, we rebranded to have a mature edgy clothing style. Our sizes range from XS (extra small) to 2XL (double extra-large, Tribe swimsuits go to 3x (optional).
Giving Back to the Community
We are active in the local LGBT organizations such as Camp Rehoboth Community Center. We co-sponsor seasonal social events and local fundraiser events.
